In the organization of Economic Development Foundation (IKV), the Publicity and Networking meeting entitled “Increasing the Influence of Civil Society Organizations in the EU Accession Process - INFL(EU)NCE ”, funded under Grant Scheme for Civil Society Support II (CSSP II) was held on October 8, 2019 in Levent campus of The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey. The opening speech of the activity was made by Ayhan Zeytinoğlu, IKV Chairman of the Board. Afterwards, Bülent Özcan, Acting Director-General for Financial Cooperation and Project Implementation at Directorate for EU Affairs of Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, emphasized on how Civil Society Organizations can benefit from EU grant projects.

Laura Fallavollita, Head of Fundamental Rights and Civil Society Programme of the EU Delegation to Turkey mentioned the relationship between Turkey and EU. And EU Accession Process of Turkey and the Role of Civil Society Organizations were addressed during the panel held afterwards.
 
Prof. Dr. ErhanDoğan, Deputy Head of the Political Science and International Relations Department at Marmara University, Dr. BükeBoşnak, from the Department of International Relations of Istanbul Bilgi University, and Dr. Demir Murat Seyrek, Senior Advisor to the European Foundation for Democracy were present at the panel moderated by IKV General Secretary ÇiğdemNas.
